Bob Mayer is a retired banking executive from New York state, who now devotes much of his time researching baseball history. His passion for baseball history led him to collecting the memorabilia beginning in 1993. Remarkably the bulk of his collection you are about to see was acquired in about five years between 1997 and 2002.
